In line with Science & Technology Week 2014, we will hold Open Day at Tsukuba Agriculture Research Hall. The event is co-hosted by NARO Agricultural Research Center (NARO/ARC), NARO Institute of Crop Science (NICS) and NARO Institute of Vegetable and Tea Science (NIVTS). National Institute of Food Research (Only on 19th) and Fisheries Research Agency will also have their booth. We look forward to seeing you.

- The mini presentations (starts from 11:00/ 12:00/ 13:00). 15-minute-presentation will focus on various agricultural topics.
- Panel presentation of the main research achievements of NARO/ARC.
NARO Institute of Crop Science (NICS)
- Introduction and tasting of the new rice variety "Akidawara".
- Researcher from NICS will introduce research achievements.
NARO Institute of Vegetable and Tea Science (NIVTS)
- Tasting of green tea "Saemidori" (developed by NARO)
- Free tea bag of green tea "Saemidori"
- Free seedlings of eggplant "Anominori"
- Panel presentations of research achievements mainly by NIVTS Tsukuba Vegetable Research Station
Fisheries Research Agency (FRA)
- FRA will introduce its activities and research achievements.
