The NARO Institute of Agricultural Machinery, Agritecno Yazaki Co. Ltd. and Kobushi Industrial Co. Ltd. have jointly developed various agricultural machineries and high speed ribbing seeding machines for soybean.
The newly developed machine is a tractor-mounted working machine, and unlike the conventional rotary type seeding machine, it combines the towing disc type of ribbing mechanism and high-speed response of seeding unit. It is possible to achieve both ribbing seeding and high-speed work. Also we can expect to lessen the moisture damage in poorly drained field to facilitate mitigation against moisture damage and implementation of efficient seeding work. The operating speed of the developed machine is 6 km/h and a high-speed ribbing and seeding allows simultaneous work of fertilization (if fitted with a fertilizer unit). In addition, by removing the seeding unit of developed machine, it can be used as a disc type inter tillage weeding machine. Details are available here in Japanese only.
