Distributed south from Kanto, the central part of Japan. Causes target spot on Sorghum plants and isolated from other gramineous weeds. Disperses by scattering conidia. Teleomorph unknown.

Morphology:
 Teleomorph: Unknown
 Anamorph: On olive brown to brown conidiophores,  producing conidia straight or curved, pale brown to olive brown, fusiform, 30-100 x 12-19 um, with 3-8 pseudosepta. Germinated conidium often produces a secondary conidium.
