Bipolaris sacchari (Butler) Shoem.
Classification: Deuteromycotina, Hyphomycetes

 Distributed south from Kyushu, the southern part of Japan. Causing eye spot on sugarcane and also isolated from other gramineous plants. Disperse by scattering conidia. Teleomorph unknown.

Morphology:
 Teleomorph: Unknown
 Anamorph: On olive brown to dark olive brown conidiophores,  producing conidia straight or curved, pale brown to yellowish brown, cylindrical to narrow ellipsoidal, 35-96 x 9-17 um, with 5-9 pseudosepta.
