Classification: Deuteromycotina, Hyphomycetes

Distributed mainly north from Kanto, the central Distr. Causes eye spot in rice, Zoysia grass and etc. Sometimes isolated from other grasses or gramineous weeds. Disperses by scattering conidia. Teleomorph not yet found.

Morphology:
 Teleomorph: Unknown
 Anamorph: On pale brown conidiophores, producing conidia straight, very long, pale yellow brown, cylindrical, widest in the 2nd cell, 200-390 x 15-30 um in size, with 4-6 pseudosepta.
