Summer blight Part or whole plant bodies are killed by hyphal strands like a spider-web. Sclerotia of brown, irregular-shaped and 2-5mm in diameter are produced on the collapsed plant.

Black patch Blackish brown irregular-shaped lesions occur on the whole plant body resulting plant death with rough-surfaced black sclerotia in the center of the infected plants.
