Large-size spheroid formation based on silk fibroin hydrogel particles
Achievement
A new method for producing spheroids (cell aggregates) using silk gel was developed (NARO is currently filing a Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) application). This method enables the efficient production of large spheroids (diameter > 500um) and it is expected to be applied to 3D bioprinting and regenerative medicine.
