The SDGs(Sustainable Development Goals) are international goals aimed at creating a better, sustainable world, as set out in the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, which was unanimously adopted by the United Nations General Assembly in 2015. Along with the Paris Agreement on climate change and the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction, these are common global goals leading up to 2030, and it is hoped that science and technology will contribute to achieving the SDGs.
