Overview

Climate change and food insecurity are becoming more serious, and international cooperation is needed to realize sustainable agriculture. National Agriculture and Food Research Organization (NARO) has already signed a Memorandum of Understanding Agreement with Wageningen University & Research (WUR) in 2015 for conducting joint research and joint seminars etc. in agricultural science and technology and are strengthening their collaboration. In this symposium, under the theme of "Resilient agriculture and food systems - Improving productivity in the livestock sector while protecting the environment -," NARO and WUR will present their cutting-edge research results and initiatives aiming for the future collaboration in the field of livestock research.
