A delegation led by Mr. Philippe MAUGUIN, the President-Director General of INRA, together with Dr. Sophie de Bentzmann, the attachée for Science and Technology of the Embassy of France in Japan, visited NARO to attend a workshop "Status and prospects of collaborations in value-oriented agricultural R&D innovations" on April 23, 2019. Participants actively discussed the possibility of joint research to realize the smart agriculture, which both organizations focus on. Also, two organizations seek for the way to further enhance the collaboration including young researchers to meet and collaborate.
