On June 3, 2024, a delegation led by the Speaker of the Malaysian House of Representatives, H.E. Johari Abdul, visited NARO.
Following a welcome speech from President Dr. KYUMA, Speaker H.E. Johari Abdul gave a speech and introduced the members of the delegation. President Dr. KYUMA presented an outline of NARO, and the delegation inquired about cooperation between NARO and foreign organizations, environmentally friendly agriculture such as zero emissions, and food security. Then the delegation visited the field, and watched the demonstration of remote monitoring-type robot tractor and a remote water management system. Speaker H.E. Johari Abdul inquired about the commercialization of robot tractors in Japan. They also inquired about the how far the water could be managed by the system. They showed great interest in NARO's work.
