Dr. Ravza Mavlyanova from the Research Institute of Vegetable, Melon Crops and Potato in Uzbekistan and Dr. Koukham Vilayheuang from the Lao Genebank made separate visits to the NARO Research Center of Genetic Resources (NGRC) in January 2025.
As part of its Genebank project, NGRC collaborates with research institutions across Asia to explore, collect, and classify plant genetic resources. These visits strengthened ongoing partnerships in genetic resource conservation and reinforced NARO's commitment to international cooperation in preserving agricultural biodiversity.
