In April 2026, I was appointed Director of the Advanced Analysis Research Center.
Recent advances in analytical instrumentation have enabled the acquisition of data at unprecedented precision and scale. Consequently, the importance of technologies that can analyze, integrate, and effectively utilize large and diverse datasets continues to grow.
At our Center, we develop, manage, and operate information infrastructure that supports the effective use of data generated by analytical instruments for agricultural and food research. Working closely with researchers from a wide range of disciplines, we promote data-driven research initiatives, including smart breeding for crop improvement, as well as the assessment, evaluation, and mitigation of environmental risks through the analysis of chemical substances and environmental factors.
By leveraging advanced analytical and data science technologies to address pressing research and societal challenges, we strive to generate new knowledge and innovations that contribute to sustainable agriculture and a resilient society.
