Citrus Breeding and Production Group

Citrus Breeding and Production group is promoting citrus cultivars with high content of healthy functional ingredients that match the health consciousness of consumers, which improves the profitability in the production for the citrus farmers. In addition, we are developing a stable production technology for high value-added fruits with a sugar content of 11% at least for extremely early-maturing Satsuma mandarin and more than 12% for early to late-maturing by smarter water stress control.
