Grassland Management Group

As one way to utilize farmland that is unsuitable for cultivation in hilly and mountainous areas, grassland use and grazing use can be mentioned. However, in recent years, the expansion of grazing use has not progressed sufficiently, and improving the productivity of grasslands and reducing the labor required to manage grazing cattle have become important issues. We aim to promote and expand the use of grazing through:
1) the development of monitoring methods to improve the efficiency of grassland management,
2) the development of wildlife damage prevention technologies to prevent feeding damage by deer and others,
3) the development of smart technologies to track the location and manage the health of grazing cattle.
