Reproductive Physiology Group

The calving interval for Japanese Black cattle recently has been lengthening, which is a problem that needs to be addressed. Various factors are involved in the reproductive cycle of cattle (estrus, pregnancy, calving, and recovery of ovarian and uterine function). The Reproductive Physiology Group conducts research aimed at elucidating various physiological functions related to reproduction and developing various technologies that contribute to shortening the calving interval.
