The Depertment of Agricultural Infrastructure Research is composed of three groups: Spatial Information Group, Farmland Improvement and Management Group, and Farmland Irrigation and Drainage Management Group.
The depertment conducts research, testing, and surveys related to the evaluation, improvement, utilization, and maintenance of farmland and its associated irrigation and drainage systems. It also develops and applies information on rural and agricultural infrastructure and its conservation, contributing to sustainable agricultural production and effective infrastructure management.
Through these activities, the Division promotes the development and effective use of efficient agricultural production infrastructure. Its key research focuses include technologies to support farmland consolidation and large-scale field reorganization planning, construction and management technologies for farmland improvement, methods to evaluate the impacts of smart agricultural machinery, and digital technologies that support consensus building in farmland improvement projects. These efforts aim to improve productivity and operational efficiency in agricultural infrastructure development.
