- NARO's ability to practice accurate testing is officially confirmed, with a recognition as a reliable testing laboratory.
Overview
NARO became the first institution in the country with the accreditation of ISO/IEC 17025:2017 in the field of testing agricultural machineries.
ISO/IEC 17025:2017 is the main international standard of general requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories in certain fields. NARO applied for the accreditation as a testing laboratory of the static strength test of safety cabs/frames for agricultural tractors (riding type), which was assessed and accredited by Perry Johnson Laboratory Accreditation, Inc. (PJLA). Safety cabs/frames are the protective structure of riding type tractors to assure the driver's safety in case of overturning: "Roll-Over Protective Structure (ROPS)".
NARO continues to perform testing with high accuracy and to fulfil its social responsibility as an accredited third-party certification body of the international standard for the agricultural machineries.
