class="common"On March 6th, 2013, NARO Institute of Crop Science (NICS) welcomed Prof. Yunde Zhao of the University of California, San Diego, and Associate Prof. Paula McSteen of the University of Missouri. Prof. Zhao gave a lecture entitled "Molecular mechanisms of auxin biosynthesis and signal transduction," and Associate Prof. McSteen gave a lecture entitled "Molecular mechanism of branching in gramineous species." The lectures were followed by discussion on topics related to crop production.
The 82nd NICS seminar, "Molecular mechanism of branching in plants," was held.
