On November 19, 2014, the Secretary General, Mr. Lersak Rewtarkulpaiboon, and 9 members from the Office of Agricultural Economics (OAE) Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives (MOAC) from Thailand visited NICS.
Director General Dr. Yano delivered a presentation on NARO and NICS. Dr. Ando, Director of the Rice Research Division, then summarized rice breeding research in Japan. This was followed by a discussion.
