NARO has signed agreement to extend MOU with France's National Research Institute for Agriculture, Food and Environment (INRAE) online on November 15, 2021 to further strengthen research cooperation. NARO President, Dr. KYUMA Kazuo and INRAE Chair and CEO Mr. Philippe Mauguin have confirmed the continuation of the cooperative relationship in the future.
The first MOU with this largest and world-class agricultural research institute in Europe was signed in September 2016. In 2018, INRA merged with IRSTEA to become INRAE. The MOU was renewed this time because continuing close cooperation with INRAE is extremely useful for achieving the mission of NARO and contributing globally.
