A delegation from the Federal Republic of Nepal headed by Mr. Gagan Kumar Thapa, a member of the Parliament and former Health Minister, visited the NARO Headquarters on March 7, 2019 and met with NARO Vice-President, Dr. Atsuro Matsuda. Then they visited the Tsukuba Plant Factory facilities of the Institute of Vegetable and Floriculture Science (NIVFS) for an overview of greenhouse technology on strawberry and tomato cultivation, and the Institute of Food Research (NFRI) for an overview of NARO research on food safety.
