On March 6th, 2023, a total of 8 people including the officers of the Ministry of Food Processing and the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India visited NARO. Following the welcome address by Vice president Dr. Katsuta in charge of international cooperation and an overview of NARO, the research topics on the characteristics of Japanese-style diet and functional food ingredients were introduced. After that they moved to the PR center: Tsukuba Agriculture Research Hall showcasing the latest research outcomes of NARO and exchanged opinions on food processing research.
