The NARO International Researchers Forum 2017 was held on September 5, 2017 at the NARO Headquarters in order to evaluate and strengthen the support system for international researchers, to gather opinions among researchers and trainees, to contribute in the effort of increasing the number of foreign researchers, and to establish a network among researchers. Senior researchers including Dr. Dong-hyuk Ahn (NIVFS), Dr. David S. Sprague (NIAES), Dr. Baltazar A. Antonio (NARO Headquarters), Dr. Zabelina Valeria (NIAS) and Dr. Marco Stoic (NILGS) gave short talks on their research areas and motivations for pursuing research in Japan.
