04. Development of a multiplex PCR for typing Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae serotypes 1, 2, and 5

  Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae serotypes 1, 2, and 5 can be genetically typed using a multiplex PCR, which is based on the capsular synthesis gene of the organisms. The multiplex PCR is a simple, easy, and accurate method for the typing.
