• Get off at Ushiku Station and take the Kanto Tetsudo Bus from the west exit. Take the bus for Yatabe Shako, Seibutsuken/Owashi Campus, Tsukuba Center or Tsukuba Daigaku Byoin and get off at the National Institute of Animal Health (NIAH). It takes approx. 20 minutes.

By Tsukuba Express

• Get off at Midorino Station and take the Kanto Tetsudo Bus for Midorino Station - Norin Danchi Junkansen. Get off at the National Institute of Animal Health (NIAH). It takes approx. 15 minutes.
• Get off at Tsukuba Station and take the Tsuku-Bus Nanbu Shuttle in the direction of “Kukizaki Madoguchi Center” from stance 2 at Tsukuba Center. Get off at Norin Danchi Chuo. It takes approx. 20 minutes.

Joban Expressway

• Get off the expressway at Yatabe Interchange and take the Tsuchiura Noda Line (R354) in the direction of Tsuchiura for approximately 2 km. Turn right at the Enokido Intersection and take the Ushiku Gakuen Line (R408) in the direction of Ushiku for approximately 1 km and turn left at the Futaiike (Norin Danchi Entrance) Intersection. NIAH is on the left. It takes approx. 10 minutes.

Ken-o Expressway

• Follow the signs for Ushiku/Narita at Tsukuba Ushiku Interchange and bear left on to the Ushiku Tsuichiura Bypass (R6). Turn right at the Oikita Intersection and take the Ushiku Gakuen Line (R408) in the direction of Tsukuba for approx. 3km and turn left at the Futaiike (Norin Danchi Entrance) Intersection. NIAH is on the left. It takes approx. 10 minutes.
