Organic/Sustainable Cultivation Group

In Organic/Sustainable Cultivation Group, we aim to provide the sustainable and laborsaving cultivation systems that achieve both supply of fresh and high-valued agricultural products and reduction of environmental impact. We tackle three challenges; (1) reduction of chemical fertilizer utilization/application for vegetable cultivation using organic materials such as green manure and alleviating the growth unevenness of soil fertilities, (2) development of the smart weed control systems with less/no herbicides using weeding robots, (3) development of organic cultivation systems for strawberry and leafy vegetables utilizing natural enemies and physical pest control methods.
