Compact Electric Robot Group

The Compact Electric Robot Group is developing technologies for implementing agricultural work by the collaboration between small-sized electric robots and humans. Several kinds of robotic moving parts are being developed as platforms according to the planting mode of crops, and in parallel, management work modules such as weeding, pest control, and transportation are also being developed, and both are combined to develop a small-sized electric farm work robot. For example, we are developing a mechanical weeding robot with the goal of reducing the time required for manual weeding of vegetables by 50%. We are also developing technologies to operate a large number of small-sized electric robots for the use of renewable energy produced in rural areas.
