Innovative Farming Mechanization Group

The Innovative Farming Mechanization Group is developing highly weather-resistant innovative working mechanisms, and smartification technologies for harvesting, shipping, and distribution processes. We are planning to develop operation mechanisms under conditions that could not be carried out before, such as seeding and transplanting operations under conditions with high soil moisture, harvesting or other tasks for crops under high moisture conditions like adhering surface water, and to lead the development of work machines and work systems with high weather resistance. We will also promote manpower saving in the process from receiving to drying preparation and shipping, and the management of shipment data in conjunction with the field and cultivation history, to develop a smart rice center that can be operated by a single worker. Furthermore, we are working with private companies, public experimental and research institutes, and producers to develop machinery that meets the on-site needs of a wide range of fields, including ordinary cropping, fruit trees, vegetables, and livestock production.
