Farm Robotics and Standardization Group

At present, various farming management information systems have been deployed, introduced and spread increasingly in the production site. Farmers can accumulate and analyze various data such as daily work details, and construct "PDCA (plan-do-check-act) farming method based on data" such as grasp on cultivation conditions, optimization of work plans, risk-response and others to improve production and management. In the future, in order to realize PDCA farming method by data linkage with various farming machines including agricultural robots, the international standardization of farming data interchange specification among different systems will be promoted with the aim of market expansion. On the other hand, as for fully unmanned operation by remote monitoring of Level 3, which has been developed until now, we will establish technologies by which unmanned agricultural robot can move between fields under the condition that the surveillance person cannot monitor, and operate continuously and safely, and the early social implementation is intended. Furthermore, as a part of advanced operation technology and systematization centering on agricultural robots, we will work for the establishment of automatic attachment and removal technology for working machines, and automatic land leveling technology expecting for large divisions of agricultural fields.

Finished operations in the fields and automatically moved for the farm road travelling
