Preventive Safety System Group

In order to achieve zero farm accidents, we need to take various measures to provide secure workplace, for example, analyzing excellent measures that have reduced actual hazardous events and damages, proposing on-site improvements based on such events, and training or education, in addition to a system that ensures safety during work. However, in agriculture, where private management accounts for a large portion, these initiatives are not fully implemented, as we have challenges due to circumstances where there are lack of personnel, materials, and systems that can explain the details and effects of the initiatives in an easy-to-understand manner and support implementation.
The Preventive Safety System Group is developing and disseminating technologies that enable many farmers and their parties to understand the details and effects of specific initiatives aimed at farm safety and to implement them. To achieve this goal, we will first provide a highly effective survey method, and concurrently, analyze and disclose accident data collected by the organization as well as examples of improvements. On the other hand, based on the results of the analysis, we will also use VR (virtual reality) technology and IoT technology to develop contents or systems to enhance awareness for farmers and instructors. Furthermore, we will strive to develop a system that can convey the effects and issues of safety measures accurately and comprehensibly by integrating advanced measurement and simulation technologies.
