Multivariable Modeling Unit

The Multivariable Modeling Unit aims at solving problems in the agricultural field through modeling relationships among various data including genomes, crop measurements, and meteorological data. For example, we have developed precise prediction of sugar content and acidity of orange based on their historical deviation and weather data for cultivation and delivery management. Another example is development of a data-driven smart-breeding system by predicting traits using trait data of crop varieties and omics information such as genome and genes.
