A hybrid line was easily obtained from feces of chickens infected with a drug sensitive precocious line and drug resistant field isolate of Eimeric tenella. The pathogenicity of the hybrid line was almost the same as a precocious line and the level of drug resistance of the hybrid line was the same as field isoIate.
