cDNA of bovine and porcine GM-CSF which activate phagocytic and bactericidal cells, were cloned by RT-PCR, using bovine and porcine T cell RNA as temperates and produced efficiently by the baculovirus expression system. It is thus possible to conduct animal experiments with GM-CSF administration.
