16. Effects of fatty acids on apolipoprotein B and triglyceride metabolism in primary cultured liver parenchymal cells

Japanese

We studied apolipoprotein B-100 (ApoB) and fatty acid metabolism in primary culture of calf liver parenchymal cells. Fatty acids increased triglyceride accumulation in cells and decreased ApoB secretion. These results coincided with in vivo observation cows with fatty liver.
