Open Field Cultivation Vegetable and Flower Breeding Group

This group focuses on elucidating the genetic basis of important traits, developing DNA markers, and breeding the leading varieties of open field cultivation vegetables and flowers, mainly cruciferous vegetables, bunching onion and chrysanthemum.

Cruciferous vegetables

  • Rich in functional substances
  • Resistant to clubroot and bacterial leaf spot
  • Resistant to bolting

Bunching onion

  • Resistant to stone leek leafminer

Chrysanthemum

  • Resistant to white rust
