要約: 本発明は、家禽における不活化ワクチンを用いた鳥インフルエンザの予防方法において、(通常の鳥インフルエンザの不活化ワクチンの接種には必須である)オイルアジュバントを併用しなくても強い免疫を付与することができ、且つ、注射針を用いた投与法でなく、且つ、多頭羽に迅速に投与が可能となる方法、を開発することを目的とする。
本発明は、家禽に対して、不活化した鳥インフルエンザウイルスを抗原として含み、且つ、オイルアジュバントを含まない不活化ワクチン、を点眼投与することを特徴とする、家禽における鳥インフルエンザの予防方法を提供する。
Abstract: The purpose of the present invention is to develop a method for preventing avian infuluenza in poultry using an inactivated vaccine, whereby it becomes possible to impart potent immunity without the need of the combined use of any oil adjuvant(which is essential for the vaccination of conventional inactivated vaccines for avian influenza), and it also becomes possible for the inactivated vaccine to be administered to many poultry rapidly without the need of using any injection needle. The present invention provides a method for preventing avian infuluenza in poultry, characterized by comprising administering an inactivated vaccine that contains an inactivated avian infulenza virus as an antigen and does not contain any oil adjuvant to the poultry by means of the instillation into eyes of the poultry.
